Junior Clubs 2010 - 2011
All Junior Clubs sponsored by GWMC are off to a terrific beginning! We currently have 210 junior club members who meet each month to enjoy well-planned programs with enthusiastic counselors. These clubs have presiding officers and incorporate the NFMC Collect, Pledge, and Federation hymn at each meeting. Each club has their own yearbook and the students work hard throughout the year to collect recital programs and photos to compile 1st place Achievement Record books to present at the convention each May.
Music club experiences educate students regarding parliamentary procedure and NFMC objectives, while providing active members performance and scholarship opportunities.
Please visit one of their club meetings to see our wonderful junior clubs in action - it will make you want to work even harder to support GWMC scholarship fundraising events!

NOTE: If you or a teacher or parent with children involved in Melody or Tempo clubs, please follow the rule regarding pick-up following the meetings. Children must remain in the auditorium until a parent comes for them. They will not be allowed to wait in the store or outside the building - this is for the safety of the children.
Also, unless the child needs their parent, this should be an independent experience for them. Often we have seating difficulties with parents, grandparents,and multiple siblings attending with club members.
